A shout out to my friend, Britt Lauren, who introduced me to this song! –It happened on a day that I really needed to hear the message of the song’s lyrics. Thanks, Britt!! =)

Photo Shoot {Simcha S.}

Recently, I had the privilege of photographing a session with my friend, Simcha S.

Image
Omw, she’s so stinkin’ adorable in this photo, I just can’t get over it! =)

Serene. This is one of my favorites from the whole shoot. πŸ™‚

She is one gorgeous girl, y’all… But even more so on the inside. ❀

I had to capture a photo of my sweet sisters and friend. πŸ™‚

Thanks to: my two sisters tagged along and were my assistants (bag and prop holders) and Abby was kind enough to be our chauffeur. πŸ™‚ And to Simcha for being a patient and obliging model. πŸ˜‰

Photo Shoot {Rowena K.}

A couple of days ago, my cousins were visiting me and so I decided to do an spur of the moment photo shoot with my cousin, Rowena.

Image

Let me tell you bit about Rowena: She’s sweet, caring, she’s funny and she laughs a lot–after being with each other, we both usually have belly aches from laughing so much. She is very talented musically– she plays both violin and piano and has played in orchestral concerts many times. I just love this girl! ❀

Image
Her goofy side is showing, don’t you think?
Image
Her dimpled smile is simply adorable. πŸ˜€
Image
She is also very photogenic. πŸ™‚

I see mischief in those eyes and that smile. πŸ˜‰ But, it takes a mischievous person to know one. πŸ˜€

Once Again

I have neglected this poor blog again! πŸ˜› But I have been extremely busy the past couple pf weeks. Among other things, my Dad’s brother Jim and sister-in-law Naomi (who are missionaries to Germany) are in town until this Monday. We’ve been doing a lot activities with them, trying to spend as much time with them as possible. Beware, this is going to be a long post (and this isn’t even very detailed at all). xD

March 13 – Phoebe made 3 flavors of ice-cream (peanut butter, strawberry, and pina colada) and I made two lemon/strawberry cheesecakes.

Aunt Naomi got a hair cut. I LOVE the look of her hair, especially when it’s curly like in this photo. =)

March 14 – My siblings and I got together for dinner, with some long time friends of ours (the D. brothers and Daniel D.’s fiancee, Talley A.). When I say long time, I mean it— we’ve known them for 16 or so years and counting. They are like our other family! πŸ™‚

March 18 – All my siblings and I played Ultimate Frisbee with about 20 other friends. We had a blast!!!

March 21 – I helped my aunt make spring rolls, and we ate those for lunch along with sushi and stir fry (my aunt made that too).

Mom’s friend, Maurita W. and her husband were in town from Oklahoma, so they visited with us for a couple of hours.

And then Dad’s sister and her kids came over. Needless to say, this house was very crowded (there were like 20 of us here), but we had a ton of fun! Phoebe made a delicious carrot cake for dessert, topped with cream cheese/honey frosting. Mmm…. Some of us played Monopoly and Uno, while others of us talked.

And then all of us cousins went on a walk to the park. There, I did an impromptu photo shoot with my cousin, Rowena (I’ll post photos from that soon). We had fun scrambling over the stepping stones at the stream and we laughed a lot!

March 22 – In the morning, we toured the Institute for Creation Research facilities. We got to meet several people (including Henry Morris IIII) and got to see some of their staff who we already knew.

Mr. Mark Mason gives us the lowdown on their shipping/distribution/warehouse section. I think it’d be fun to work in that department, though I don’t look too thrilled in the photo.

Β  After we got back from the touring, my friend Simcha S. came over. She took off with my sisters and I to do a photo shoot (photos from that to come soon). We had a ton of fun!!

Loving this song!! πŸ™‚

This skirt is absolutely adorable!! πŸ™‚ It the perfect color for a denim skirt, I love the fact that it has pockets and buttons. πŸ™‚

Rosette Knit Dress.

This dress is in such a lovely shade of blue! It looks extremely comfortable, and I adore the rosettes on the hem line. πŸ™‚

Not long ago, I would’ve thought that the colors coral and turquoise do not go together, but I think those two colors are very tastefully combined in the above outfit. I think the dark gray of the dress balances the look of theΒ  outfit. Adorbs!

Oh, my, wow! I LOVE this dress, it’s the very picture of perfection. πŸ™‚ I hope that my future wedding dress will turn out looking something like this. Although, I think (since I’d prefer a simplistic wedding) that I’d go without the lace train. It’d still be a very lovely dress, don’t you agree?
