Spring – What I Think of {Part 7}

Floral, button-up shirts. Pretty, and pretty comfortable. πŸ™‚ Not to mention that they practically scream, “spring”! Oh, and did I mention that all of them were thrifted? It’s the way to do it, I think.

Bokeh. That is all.

Peacock feathers. Not just because they’re peacock feathers. ‘Cause that’s a pretty awesome reason in and of itself. But because they display my favorite color– green– in such a lovely way. Ah….

Spring – What I Think of {Part 6}

Flower petals.

This one was off our black raspberry bush. Such a perfect picture of purity and innocence. If only all things in this world were pure and innocent… Looking forward to heaven, where that will be the case. Purity, because God is the essence of purity.

Spring – What I Think of {Part 3}

IMG_3294Vegetable garden.

I am so thankful for the hard work my siblings and mom have put into our garden– God willing, we will have anΒ abundance of fresh produce in the next few months. πŸ™‚ We’ve already had our first harvest of our micro greens (lettuce), some spinach, and mulberries. Hopefully we’ll have plenty of tomatoes and onions, because those are favorites around here.

Today, I got in the garden and put some stuff down to help the plants be more healthy. I’m not exactly an expert on such things, so hopefully I did it correctly and there will be no adverse effects. πŸ˜‰

Spring – What I Think of {Part 1}

I decided I’m going to a series of posts (hopefully) for the next week or so– of things that remind me of this lovely season: Spring. What do you think? I hope you enjoy it!

IMG_3443Freshly washed 100% cotton sheets. I know, I know— it’s not so romantic as those just brought in from the clothes line, but I’m so thankful for a fully functioning washer and dryer set. Saves me from agonizing back aches. IMG_3457On a random note– I also am kind of in love with my bedroom. So boho/Shabby chic. It’d be the perfect place for a Friday night dance party to folk music– if only it were larger. Oh well. πŸ™‚ I guess that’s what kitchens and patios and living rooms are for. πŸ˜‰
